Hier werden noch ganz traditionell Segelschiffe gebaut. Diese Werft verbraucht deshalb vorwiegend Schnittholz in Form von Balken und Brettern. Dazu kommt viel Leinwand und Takelage. Nur für Umlenkrollen, Anker und Beschläge verwendet man Stahl. Gelegentlich fragt ein Kunde, ob nicht eine Dampfmaschine im Schiff sinnvoll sei. Der Besitzer der Werft erklärt dann, dass sich Holzschiffe und Feuer nicht vertragen. Er möchte weder brennende noch auseinander fliegende Schiffe bauen. So manche Dampfmaschine ist bereits explodiert und er möchte seinen Namen nicht als Erbauer solch eines Schiffs in der Zeitung stehen haben.

Aquí todavía hay veleros construidos tradicionalmente. Por lo tanto, este patio utiliza principalmente madera en forma de vigas y tablas aunque también hay mucho lienzo y aparejos. El acero sólo se usa para poleas, anclajes y accesorios. Ocasionalmente, un cliente pregunta si una máquina de vapor dentro del barco no tendría sentido y el propietario del astillero tiene que explicar que los barcos de madera y el fuego no son compatibles. Algunas máquinas de vapor ya han explotado y el propietario no desea que su nombre aparezca en el periódico como el constructor de dicho barco.

Le navi a vela sono ancora costruite qui in un modo molto tradizionale. Questo cantiere navale utilizza quindi principalmente legname segato sotto forma di travi e assi. C'è anche molta tela e manovre. L'acciaio viene utilizzato solo per pulegge, ancoraggi e raccordi. Di tanto in tanto un cliente chiede se un motore a vapore sulla nave potrebbe non avere senso. Il proprietario del cantiere spiega poi che le navi di legno e il fuoco non vanno bene insieme. Non vuole costruire navi in fiamme o che volano via. Molte macchine a vapore sono già esplose e lui non vuole che il suo nome appaia sui giornali come il costruttore di una nave del genere.
